1 John 1:8-10
“If we say, ‘We have no sin,’ we are deceiving ourselves, and the truth is not in us. If we confess our sins, he is faithful and righteous to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness. If we say, ‘We have not sinned,’ we make him a liar, and his word is not in us.”
What great news!
We don’t have to hide our sin. We can confess it and God will completely forgive us.
Prayer:
Father, I confess that I have sin {what you have done wrong today-not loving God or not loving your neighbor}. Clean me and free me from this evil in my heart. In Jesus’ name, amen.
