You are still good

The first sign of a tulip that has been dormant during the freezing winter

In the morning you are good
And at night you are good

When I’m strong you are good
And in my weakest day you are good

When the light shines
and the flowers bloom
you are good
And when every leaf
of my tree has fallen
you are good

You will not leave me,
nor will you forsake me (Heb 13:5)
And there is nothing
that can separate me
from your love (Rom 8:38-39)

When my feathers are bright blue
and I can fly high
you are good
And when they turn grey
and I can’t move no more
you are good

When the future
seems bright and promising
you are good
And when all I get to do
is live moment by moment
you are good

When I’m strong you are good
And in my weakest day you are good

In the morning you are good
And at night you are still good
